TECSYSTEM SH Conflict Minerals Free Statement
TECSYSTEM Shanghai upholds the principles of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. We are committed to full compliance with international laws and regulations, while driving transparency and accountability throughout our supply chain.
We firmly oppose the use of conflict minerals sourced from conflict-affected and high-risk areas, such as the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries, and we fully support the global goal of Conflict-Free Minerals.
To achieve this, TECSYSTEM Shanghai commits to:
-
Adhere to the OECD Due Diligence Guidance, the U.S. Dodd-Frank Act (Section 1502), and the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation;
-
Require all suppliers to comply with the latest Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) standards by completing and submitting the CMRT (Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten, Gold) and EMRT (Cobalt, Copper, Graphite, Lithium, Mica, Nickel);
-
Require suppliers to disclose the country of origin and smelter/refiner information, and to source only from smelters validated as conflict-free by independent third-party audits;
-
Require suppliers to cascade the same standards throughout their own supply chains to ensure responsible sourcing at all levels;
-
Take corrective actions where risks are identified, and reserve the right to discontinue cooperation with non-compliant suppliers.
TECSYSTEM Shanghai will continue to strengthen its due diligence practices, ensuring supply chain transparency and compliance, and delivering products and services that meet the highest international standards.
